Install as an app on the phone and notifications

You don't need to download the Smart Agriculture Network from the store: the platform can be added to your phone's home screen like an app. Once added, it opens in full screen, loads faster, and you can receive instant notifications.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open the platform in Chrome and log in.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app and confirm.

The platform sometimes also shows the suggestion “Add the app to your home screen, it opens faster”; you can add it from there too.

iPhone (Safari)

1. Open the platform in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom.
3. Select Add to Home Screen, then Add.
4. From now on, open the platform from the icon on your home screen.

On iPhone, instant notifications only work on the app added to the home screen and require iOS 16.4 or a newer version.

Turn on instant notifications

1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
2. Press the Turn on instant notifications button and confirm the permission requested by the browser.
3. Try sending a notification with Send test.

Permission is granted separately to each device's browser; you need to enable it separately on your phone and computer.

What will you get notifications for?

You can choose in which situations you want to receive notifications on the same page: new messages, comments and replies, likes, new followers, group activities, business meetings (B2B and fair meeting requests, replies, reminders), and platform announcements. All notifications are also collected in the notification bell in the top right.

If you have a B2B meeting, keep the Business meetings notification on: you will receive reminders 24 hours and 15 minutes before your meeting.

If you don't receive notifications

• Check if the notification permission for the browser or the app you added is enabled in your phone settings.
• Battery saver and do not disturb modes can delay notifications.
• If you accidentally denied permission, re-enable notification permission in the site settings of your browser.
