What is the Smart Agriculture Network?

24 September 2026 updated · 2 min read · 21 views
The Smart Agriculture Network is a cross-border digital network bringing together farmers, SMEs, and agricultural experts from Kozan and Larissa. It was established within the scope of the “Smart Agriculture for Environmental Sustainability and Cross-border Business Dialogue” project, led by the Kozan Chamber of Commerce (KOZTO) and co-funded by the Larissa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LACCO). The project is financed by the European Union under the Türkiye-EU Business Dialogue II (TEBD II) program.

What is its purpose?

The network aims to establish continuous information exchange between Türkiye and Greece. Here, members:
  • access resources related to smart agriculture and precision farming,
  • share useful applications for their fields, gardens, or businesses,
  • discuss precision irrigation, soil monitoring, data-driven crop management, and innovative farming techniques,
  • seek business partners, suppliers, or buyers on the other side of the border.

What's on the platform?

  • Feed: short posts, photos, likes, and comments.
  • Groups and Discussions: members working on the same topic, questions, and answers.
  • Knowledge Center and Articles: guides, news, best practice examples.
  • Events and Polls: calendar and short polls asking for the network's opinion.
  • B2B Meetings: two digital business meeting events organized by KOZTO.
  • Digital Fair: a trade fair with virtual booths organized by LACCO.
  • Academy: access the Sustainable Agriculture Academy with a single login using your network account.

Who can join?

Producers, agricultural and food businesses, cooperatives, chamber members, agricultural engineers, and researchers from Kozan and Larissa are the core members of the network. International buyers can also participate in the digital fair. Membership is free and activated upon administrator approval.

In which languages?

The interface can be used in Turkish, Greek, and English. Members write in their own languages; you can read a post in a different language by clicking the Show translation button below it. The network operates in conjunction with the project's official website smartfarmingsolutions.org and continues to develop throughout the project duration.
