Feed, groups and discussions

Feed

1. Write your thought, experience, or problem in the writing box on the Feed page.
2. Add a photo if you wish.
3. To add a topic, write # (e.g., #dripirrigation), to mention a member, write their username with @. The mentioned member will be notified.
4. Choose who will see your post: Public or Members only.
5. Post. Other members can like and comment.

When you click on a tag, you will see all posts made with that tag. You can follow members to track their posts more easily.

Groups

Groups bring together members working on a specific topic; for example, precision irrigation, citrus, or export.

• Open group: everyone can see; you can join immediately with the Join Group button.
• Closed group: everyone can see the group, but joining is by approval; you need to send a request to join and be approved to see the content.

If there isn't a group you need, you can create your own by going to Groups → Create Group. Briefly explain what the group does and who should join.

Discussions

1. On the Discussions page, select the appropriate category (e.g., Precision Agriculture, Smart Irrigation and Soil Monitoring, Market and Trade, Climate and Plant Health).
2. Write your problem or discussion title with Start Topic. You will get better answers if you specify the product, region, and conditions.
3. Mark the answer that solves the problem as the best answer; then, those who read it will immediately find the correct answer.

Articles, Events, and Polls

• Articles: news, best practice examples, and technical articles; you can read and comment.
• Events: indicate your participation in an event on the calendar by saying I'm attending or I'm interested.
• Polls: participate in short polls asking for the network's opinion.

Private Messages

You can send a private message to a member from the Messages section. New messages and other actions will appear on the notification bell in the top right corner.

A Few Rules

Be respectful, post on-topic, and leave commercial promotions for the exhibition stand. If you see an inappropriate post or comment, use the Report button. All rules can be found on the Privacy and Terms of Use page.
