Turkish, Greek and English: how translation works
Members from Kozan and Larissa meet on the same page in the Smart Agriculture Network. Everyone writes in their own language, and the platform makes reading easy.
Select interface language
- Select Turkish, English, or Greek from the TR / EN / EL selector in the top right.
- Your selection is remembered; if you are logged in, it is saved to your account.
- You can also change the language in Settings → Account → Interface language.
The prefix /en/ for English or /el/ for Greek appears in the address bar.
Which content appears in your selected language?
Editorial content prepared by the platform is displayed in your selected language: pages, knowledge base guides, events, surveys, and groups.
What members write
Posts, comments, discussions, articles, booth introductions, and messages remain in the language they were written in. If the text is in a different language than yours, a button appears below it:
- Click the Show translation button; the text appears in your selected interface language.
- Click the Show original button to return to the original text.
You can also write comfortably in your own language; other members can read you in their own language.
Things you should know
- The translation is machine translation and is done by a third-party language model. It mostly conveys the meaning correctly but can make mistakes.
- Confirm important details such as price, quantity, delivery date, or technical specifications from the original text or the other party.
- Short and clear sentences translate better; local idioms and abbreviations may be misunderstood.
- Private messages are not sent for bulk translation; only if the recipient clicks Show translation will that message be translated.
- Once a text is translated, the translation is saved; others who open the same text later will see it without waiting.
You can find information about which data is sent to whom for translation on the Privacy and Terms of Use page.
